Omg Coach Dinky

You know that feeling when something is just too good to be true? The sheer disbelief that accompanies an offer you never thought you'd get, or a chance you never thought you'd be given? I had this very feeling one day when going through my emails and finding one with the subject "Coach: Pre-Spring 2017 Collection x Mariah Alysz". I'll be honest with you, I almost didn't open it. I was sure it was spam. I was so sure it was spam that the only reason I did open it was to get a good laugh at the clear spammyness of it all before throwing it in the trash bin. But then, it wasn't. It was so professional, so real. I still didn't believe it. I googled the company it came from and upon them also being legit, I started to dare to believe. It was real. Someone wanted to send me, me a Coach bag. The disbelief may seem overly dramatic, but when the only bloggers you've ever seen work with Coach have followers well over double that of what you have, it seems too good to be true. Coach is an iconic brand, and I remember spending a lot of my high school and college days drooling over various purses of theirs. So after my rigorous vetting process, I replied to the email, and here we are.

GIFTED SKIRT :: CHILDREN'S TOP :: TARGET TIGHTS :: MARSHALLS HEELS :: PURSE C/O COACH :: KAT VON D EVERLASTING LIQUID LIPSTICK IN LOLITA II

I knew I wanted to do something outside of my usual styling to showcase the bag. I mean, I am doing multiple outfits, but I wanted the first one to be different and special and a bit dressy. This is (obviously) what I came up with. I had literally every piece of this as something else when I first started pulling out clothes and laying things together, but then it morphed into this and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I really don't have any reason to get dressed up anymore, so a new purse seemed about a good a one as any, and I was happy for the change of pace and the confidence boost that comes with looking fly as fuck. In retrospect my hair may be a twinge too 80's, but whatever.

What was your first really nice bag? How did it make you feel? Give me the deets.
