California Dreamin' :: Giveaway

Friday, August 12, 2016

Anyone who knows me knows that I am not the biggest fan of Washington. (I feel I've started many a post like this...) I prefer warmer climates and sunnier days. Last year around this time I made a solo road trip down to California, met some truly amazing women, and felt totally at home. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it whole-heartidly. So when the kind folks from Polette Eyewear asked if I'd like to style their limited edition California frame, I was more than down. The California Collection is infused with all the vibes of summer, and just begging to be worn on a long car ride with the top down or while you tan at the beach. The collection has both sunglasses and regular frames, and offers a ridiculous amount of customization. While I won't be doing any beach lounging or spontaneous road trips any time soon, I can still be California dreamin' in my sweet, sweet glasses. Read on for just how I customized my pair and the scoop on how you can get 50% off any Polette glasses of your choice!

GLASSES C/O POLETTE :: BERSHKA JACKET :: OLD NAVY JUMPSUIT & BRACELET :: FAWN DESIGN DIAPER BAG :: CHARLOTTE RUSSE WEDGES :: MAC LIPGLASS IN DREAMY :: GIFTED EARRINGS

Let me tell you about how I made these frames my own. I was initially in love with both the California View Pink and the California Rose, ok I still am, but I could only pick one frame to review. Ultimately I decided upon the California View Pink because I love me some fashion lenses (although you can also get them fitted to your prescription) and because the frame was rose gold, which I am obsessed with. I was pretty bummed about missing out on the pink lenses that the other pair sported until I realized that you can completely customize the frames! Having never used this feature of Polette before, I must say that I was blown away. I added anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating to them (usually $5.99), and a 25% pink tint to the lenses which also provides partial UV protection (normally $10), but let's be real, I did it because it looks cool.  I must say that I think I succeeded in making them my very own, and that I am thrilled they went with this jumpsuit so well because I have been waiting for the perfect thing to pair it with. Score! Overall, per usush, Polette has blown me out the water with the quality, thought, and personalization behind their products. (Oh! And the Cali frames come in a special box with a cali themed cleaning wipe that works super stupid well.)

And now here's your chance to snag some frames for yourself (or a friend or whatever, but probably yourself) at 50% off! Grab some sunnies to rock the remainder of your summer, or freshen up your look with some brand new glasses, either way it's a killer deal! Entry is simple, just head on over to Polette, copy the link to your favorite pair of glasses and comment it down below! Extra entires for visiting and liking their Facebook page, following them on Instagram, and following them on Twitter. Giveaway ends on the 19th, so get to clickin'!

    Because it doesn't recognize my google profile, I had to re-post and am adding my name. Sorry for the confusion!
