Babymoon Day 1

Sunday, February 7, 2016

For some reason my photos always look way brighter before I upload them into blogger...does anyone else have this problem? I guess it doesn't really matter, but it kind of irks me. Anywho, here are the very few photos from the first day of our babymoon. We had a pretty late start to the day since Michael didn't get home until three the same morning, so most of our day one was filled with driving to the B&B. We did stop in Astoria to find some pretty walls for these super quick outfit photos, and that was honestly about it. I had to get a photo of this cuddly top though. I think it is just too cute, and while I generally hate any clothing with saying on it, this proved itself to be a rare exception. For real though, if anyone gets me a onesie that says, "Daddy's little princess," or "heartbreaker," or something, my child will not be in it. Am I the only one who thinks those are just gross? Like, especially the ones that advertise how attractive your child is! I think it is so creepy.

While there aren't many pictures from our first day, I did make sure to make snapstories of pretty much everything, and will be uploading them with their corresponding day for your viewing pleasure if you happened to miss them, or just don't snapchat (why???). You can add me @rya_pie (forever regretting the underscore; why did I add an underscore?!) if you want to see more of my everyday nonsense.

  1. If you upload your photos directly into the Blogger platform uploader, it actually does mess with the color! That's why I upload mine to Flickr and then use the photo URL. Not sure if this is what you meant, but I remember noticing this way back when. I agree with you on the dumb sayings for babies, etc. but that sweatshirt is adorable. Can't wait to see more photos from your babymoon!

    1. Oh man! That is what I'm talking about! I knew it! I can't explain it, but they come off ... flatter ... to me when I do it. I used to upload to Photobucket wayyyyyy back in the day, but I just got too lazy. I may start using Flickr though. Thank you for the knowledge!

  2. OMG, yes, those onesie slogans bum me out so much! It's a total pet peeve of mine when babies babies and young kids get sexualized ... can't we just let them be innocent and enjoy being kids? Also mind: blown about the blogger photo thing - I totally thought it was just me! I am not sure if I am ambitious enough to use a third-party host for photos bc I'm super lazy, but it's good to know.
