Accessor-eyes

Before anyone decides to ask, no, I do not wear glasses. I mean, yes I am obviously wearing glasses in this post, but I do not have a prescription of any sort. When I was younger I would always put on my mom's glasses until my head started to hurt. While I don't think I'd want to be dependent on glasses or contacts (the idea of putting those in my eyes gives me the super creeps), I do wish I had glasses for certain outfits or looks. Why is it so looked down upon to wear glasses without a prescription? Why can't glasses be accessories just like anything else? These things are the reason that when I was contacted by Firmoo to try out some of their frames (for fashion or function) I immediately said yes. Even Michael wondered why I accepted the offer for some glasses when I didn't need any, but I think we should encourage non-glasses wearers to wear frames for style. They are so fun! I absolutely love this pair. They came so fast and I think the shape and colors are just beyond perfect. I am in love.

If you're interested in checking out the frames at Firmoo for yourself, you can click any of the links (beside the one under the photo, which leads to the specific frames I chose) to get 50% off your first pair of frames! Exciting, no? And remember, they offer prescription and non-prescription lenses! Awesome right? Yes. They happen to have a fantastically stylish pair of cat eye glasses for those retro ladies out there. I almost go them myself, but I wanted something a bit more colorful. All in all, I had a great experience with Firmoo. The glasses are super fun, came in a cute case with a cleaning cloth, and even a soft case and a little screwdriver. Fantastic. Oh! And they have a feature on their site where you can upload a photo of yourself so you can try out different frames with your face shape right on the website! Yep. So go get your first set of frames 50% off today!

  2. I adore Firmoo. I've had four pairs of glasses from them over the last few years (two of which, I broke -- I sat on one pair, and the lawn mower went over the other pair, ack!) and they're always excellent, they arrive quickly, and the prescription is always spot on! These frames look SO good on you! The colors are just perfect for your personality, I think! And I agree with you -- though I wear prescriptions, I think glasses in and of themselves are a great accessory, and anyone should be able to wear them, prescription or not! I'm glad I have glasses. My husband asked once when I was going to get contacts, and I surprised myself by answering "maybe never?" because... yeah, I like glasses.

Except contacts WOULD be nice for 3D movies (wearing two pairs of frames is awkward) and for fancy events.

Anyway! You look fantastic. And my first thought was actually "oh my goodness, your nails are amazing." You always have great nails!

    1. Yes! I do adore you in glasses! They just suit you so well! I can imagine how they'd be annoying when watching a 3D movie though. Oh my that would be bothersome!

And thanks so much! My nail lady is fantastic! I'm quite obsessed with my nails, haha.

  3. You're adorable in glasses!! I love my glasses - they're an extra accessory! I have needed them since 4th grade. I have always loved picking out new frames and now that I am an adult, I don't have to get just one pair! ;)

    1. Thank you! I can imagine having multiple pairs being beyond necessary if I was wearing them everyday! How could you stick with just one?
