Track No. 9

Friday, February 6, 2015

As my first matter of business, I would like to state that Michael picked out this top and this skirt when we were at Forever 21 the other day. I was flitting about as usual, picking up this and that, here and there, and every now and then he'd say, "What about this?" and hold something up to me, and lately he has been just spot on. He didn't pick these two items to be paired together, but I stuck them together in the fitting room since it was the only top I had brought in with my first six items, and I loved the pair!

As far as life goes, because I feel like I never remember to fill you guys in enough, I'm half way through this quarter as of this Friday, which seems insane. I also have an essay due, but I'm strangely not stressed out about it, which may or may not be a good thing. I think it's ok though. It's like, I think I've got this college thing down. I still need to go apply to graduate because there was a weird malfunction when I applied online. Chai hit six months old on the second, which means it's about time for her to get spayed and microchipped. I have some pretty big plans for my hair coming up, so I'll soon be saying goodbye to these dang roots of mine. And, my parents are moving back sooner than expected and will be back in Washington in the beginning of March! Life is good. Lady Foot is fat, and I think that's all that truly matters at the end of the day, right? My cat is fat and I'm a happy camper.

Oh! And I've been blasting T-Swift's new cd on repeated in my car, hence the title of the post. Track number nine is where it's at. I suggest a listen if you're interested.

    1. I am doing a few things new actually! For awhile, I felt like I was in such a rut, where taking my outfit photos almost became more like a chore than a joy. "Ok, let's go outside and snap these really quick and try not to be cold." This of course lead to photos just as boring as I was treating them. Then, after doing a photoshoot with my darling friend Clista, I felt inspired again. I started to think more creatively about my poses and locations, and all that, plus getting Adobe Lightroom and some amazing preset packs from VSCO, has really had me feeling extra inspired and pumped about photos lately! I have so much fun taking them and editing them now! So that's it. Sorry if this was wayyyyyyy too long of a response!

  3. I love these pieces together! I love mixing patterns. My boyfriend picks things out when we go shopping too and usually he picks out good things. :) It's nice when they get your style and know you so well. :)
