Coffee Downtown :: Valentine's Editorial

Here are some of my favorite snaps from my second date idea for my Valentine's Day editorial, a downtown coffee date! A bit more urban than the cozy styles of my bookstore date shoot, and definitely a great idea for a more low-key date that can lead anywhere! I had a great time styling Michael and I for these photos. This kind of outfit is right up his alley, but is a bit out of the box for my usual style as of late, so it was fun to stretch my usual ways of thinking.

I thought the black lipstick was a fun play on the whole V-Day colorshceming. And just so everyone knows, a combination of chai tea and apple cider is delicious. They make it upon request at the Batdorf downtown, you can always try your hand at getting one, they call it a "chaider." Give it a whirl. It's so amazing.
