So as you may have seen here or there on the internet, or if you haven't, I helped Mischa, the lovely lady who runs Global FashionFlare magazine, with the fashion section of the February issue. As well as making a Twenty Under $20 section of little fashion finds, and helping a bit with a section on Ireland, I mainly helped on a fashion editorial! The idea behind the shots is pretty simple, they work as a what-to-wear, where-to-go sort of deal, featuring three different locations and ideas.
This first batch of photos is meant to be a library or bookstore date, which happen to be one of my favorite kinds. At first I felt awkward setting up a tripod in a public area and bouncing back and forth to take the photos, but I adore how these turned out!
I had so much fun getting to be the photographer, stylist, and model in these shoots! I can't wait to share the rest with you. And, while the shots I'll be sharing with you are my favorites from the three shoots, be sure to check out the magazine for Mischa's favorites and the rest of her fantastic mag.

almost famous pants :: forever 21 top :: target cardigan :: anne michelle heels :: mac lipstick in angel
::His Look::
levi 514 jeans :: florsheim shoes :: stafford button up from jcpenny :: j crew sweater :: michaelis tie
The great thing about doing these shoots is that by putting my brain into the mindset of an editorial, I actually came up with some combos I don't think I would have otherwise. It's nice to change your viewpoint every now and then and let the creative juices get to flowin'.
I hope y'all enjoy these and stay tuned for the other two shoots! I already caved early and gave Michael his V-Day present the day it arrived in the mail, but that's ok because he loved it super much. I hope whatever plans you have end up being fun and awesome. This will be only my second real Valentine's Day with a guy I'm dating, so that's fun. Last year we started the tradition of a Valentine's Day movie marathon and pig-out and kicked it off by watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which was awesome. This year, if M can get it off work, we plan to do the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. However, if you have a more traditional date in mind, maybe this photo series can serve as some outfit and location inspiration, and if not then hopefully they're at least nice to look at.
Loved this post! I especially loved the one of Michael looking at you while your eyes were in the book. THE BEST! What a fun little shoot!!
