Little Sailor Girl

Recently, I bought some items from Asian iCandy, and I am in love with every single one of them! This dress was one of the things I immediately fell in love with from the site and had to have. I love that there is an 'M' on it because I can totally pretend it's special for me and stands for Mariah. Who knows why it's actually there, but it works for me. The only concern I had was the cut of the dress. Being short, items with a baggier silhouette usually make me look like a pregnant dwarf, but since the items in this site are done with Asian sizing, everything fits me like a dream! I am in love. This dress is so comfy and even though Michael thought it was pajamas (what?) when I had it hanging up, it's definitely a keeper. The only complaint I have about the whole experience is that when I opened everything it all smelled incredibly of cigarette smoke, and stale smoke at that. And I do mean incredibly. Like, it smelled up the entire house. Even a generous dose of Fabreeze didn't seem to solve the problem, but luckily I had purchased a steamer for us and that not only got rid of the wrinkles, but also the smell. Thank. God.

This will be the last post you see with my little pony tail for awhile as I finally went and got my mullet taken care of, haha. Just a little trim of some split ends that are still damaged from my bleached hair and the removal of my tail. Oh! And it was made a bit more asymmetrical, so that's nice.

I have a few more posts coming up, so there shouldn't be another long absence any time soon. School and feeling gross timed themselves so perfectly with the rain that I wasn't able to get any photos for a hot second. Keep tuned!
