Secret Seattle Sweater

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

I can't believe my quarter is already almost over! I don't have anymore class this week, and next week it's just three days of presentations. Crazy. My senior year is going by so fast, my head is spinning! I feel like I just wrote my 21 before 22, and now it'll be time to look back and see how I did, and write new goals for this coming year. So much all at once, you know? Whew.

I've been driving Michael crazy trying to get him to give me present hints, but he's pretty sneaky with his hints. So far I've gotten, "it's kind of in Aladdin," and, "it's treasure." His hints are always very vague like this, and then when I finally think I've figured out exactly what it is, it's the complete opposite. He keeps me on my toes, and I love it.

This sweater, which I got on sale via HauteLook, is another Wildfox piece that I own and adore. At this point I have a nice little collection started, all tops, but I hope to add more to it as I go. Their pieces are just so dreamy to me, and while they all aren't to my aesthetic, the majority are, and I take any chance I get to snag them at discount prices. I don't normally buy clothing with a place name on it, especially of one I have never even been to, however this is a fantastic turtleneck, and was also called the Seattle sweater (why?), so I had to get it, even if I'm the only one who knows I am repping Washington.

In other news, Michael has four days off in a row this week (crazy!), so I have lots of plans for us. Now that our little Chai has all her shots, I want to get her out and about as much as possible so she can get fully socialized. I really want to take her on a good woodsy hike/walk to see how she does. And we plan to make a trip into town soley to find some good Christmas decorations, which is super exciting. I. LOVE. CHRISTMAS.

  1. Haha, I wonder why that sweater is called the Seattle sweater? That's so random! Maybe that's a stereotypical Washingtonian style of sweater to wear? Who knows. It's super cute and cozy looking, though! And that HAT. *swoon*
