When You're Feeling Hormonal

Hopefully this post isn't tmi for anybody, but I'm all about keeping it real with you guys, and I am one moody lady when it is getting to be that time of the month. During the actual real period I'm having, I'm not too terrible, but the two or three days before things really kick in, things get interesting and let's just say Michael is a patient and very loving man. After that it's mostly bloating, back pain, and cramps. Woo! Go team hormones! Not. 

Anyway, the point is, the thing I usually want to do during that time of the month is put on some baggy clothes and be generally mildly miserable, but I find the fix is to usually do the opposite. Pop some midol, put on a pretty dress, feel better. For a fact I know I'm not fat and disgusting like I feel, and I'm pretty sure you aren't either if you get similar flo feelings. So here's what I wore on such a day.










Simple comfy cotton dress made me feel like...well like I wasn't on my period haha. In case any of you are curious about my necklace, it's actually what inspired my first tattoo, and you can see the design much more clearly here, on my wrist.

  1. You look gorgeous, and I suffer from moodiness in GENERAL, but it's made worse with the whole PMS thing. I always want to put on sweatpants and eat junk and be sad lol, but you're right, it's always better to do things that are good for your body and mood (work out, drink water, do productive things - and of course, wear dresses!).
