Leavenworth Trip // Life

Tuesday, February 25, 2014

Hey there all! I thought I'd finally share my little trip to Leavenworth with you. This is a pretty picture heavy post, so I'm sorry about that if that's not your particular thing. Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about, for Chistmas M and I decided that we would both put money towards a trip together rather than buying presents. After a little brainstorming we decided that Leavenworth would be the perfect place because he was really longing for some snow and I had taken him to Arizona with me over the summer, which is my ideal climate, so it seemed about right for it to be his turn.
Anyways, here are just a few of the photos that I took (and M took if they're of me) of our mini road trip.

The first glimpse of snow

This thing has got to be really germy, am I right?

First he got this beer...

And then this one. We were in the restaurant for almost 3 hours. No joke.

Our amazing B&B. It was seriously fantastic.

Cleaning up for the ride home

Goodbye snow.

So that's that. I had some sappy cute photos of Michael and I in our robes with a glass of "wine" (we had run out so we used cran juice for the photos lol) but they seemed a little...much for a blog post. I don't know. Either way, the trip was absolutely amazing. The place we stayed at was called the Ptarmigan and I highly suggest it. Like, seriously. It is painful how highly I recommend this place if you're ever in the area. Don and Joyce were beyond amazing and they built that gorgeous place themselves! Plus, they made breakfast every morning and yes I know this is normal B&B behavior, but you didn't taste this breakfast. There was homemade granola and yogurt and quiche and scones and tea and coffee and fruit and bacon and omg guys. Omg. So good. Plus they were super helpful and friendly and just...yeah. So awesome.
Of course the trip itself was fantastic B&B aside. M and I had a great time browsing shops and eating out and buying too many things. It was so nice just to spend a few days unplugged and in each others presence. We plan to make it a tradition.

Love & Sunshine,
Rya <3
