Jet Lag

     Hey all! As I write this I am fighting off falling asleep, even though it's only 9:20 here, making it 8:20 for me since I'm used to Washington time...but man planes mess me up. I don't know what it is. It's not like coming to Arizona is a substantially long flight (it was only like 2 hours and 30 minutes) but it wiped me out. Of course, it could also be because I was up until about 2 or 3 chillin with my friends and roomies before I decided I should pack and go to bed. It was totally worth this nasty sleep deprivation though, even if I do have a 5 page essay due tomorrow that I still need to write. >.<
     It really was a good time though, we played Cards Against Humanity, listened to a 90s playlist of mine, and just chilled out with some hookah. Wow. What a college sentence haha. Either way, it got to be late and then I grumpy packed because I hate doing things last minute and then M and I went to his place to sleep since I still don't have a bed hahaha.
     My morning was a rush of cheerios and going back to my apartment to get ready and gather my things and M leaving for class and saying goodbye and then catching a ride with Lauren, one of my roomies, up to the airport. I had originally intended to get a ride from Ashley, my other roomie, but she had to work, however, it worked out nicely because Lauren and I don't know each other that well and it was really nice to take the ride to talk and swap stories and just bond a little. She's a pretty sweet lady.

{COAT: Hawk & CO SWEATER: ack I don't know, I'm not with my clothes! JEANS: American Eagle BOOTS: Candies HAT: DC}

     This outfit ended up being something that I threw together on one of my less-sick-sick-days. You know those days where you still don't feel tops, but you feel a little better than the day prior? One of those days. I wanted to actually put on something other than yoga pants for M to see me in, so this is what I came up with. I thought it looked kind of badass, or at least it made me feel like it, while also being pretty easy and comfy. The hat covered my messy hair, and I didn't have to put makeup on, so it was ok with me haha.
     In other news, I have a chance to win ModCloths Snapshot-to-Studio contest, I don't think I'm going to, but I'd still appreciate it if you would vote for me here if you haven't already! It's a pretty sweet opportunity.
     And on that note, I think I'm going to head to bed and sleep off this jet lag so I can write my essay tomorrow!

Love & Sunshine,
Rya Pie
