Back In Black

Hey there y'all! It's been a little bit. With Michael back in town I've been spending most of my nights at his place and he has no wifi, which sucks but it is what it is. However! I am back at my abode for the moment and just got done editing the slew of photos that I have for you, since I have at least been taking them! The weather has finally turned cold here and it feels like fall for sure, and I have the signature fall cold to go along with it. No fun, but whatever. I have plans to go to a pumpkin patch with M this Saturday, so I better start feeling tip top again.

I would consider myself a pretty colorful person, however, in like seventh and eighth grade I went through that all-black phase oh so many of us went through and upon coming out of it, I never really wore black pants again. UNTIL NOW! Haha, ok that was pretty dramatic, but it finally struck me the other day that wearing black pants wouldn't put me back into that phase, and wouldn't negate the fact that I love bright colors, or am myself a bright color. I mean, they're a wardrobe staple for gosh sakes! So I sucked it up and got some from work, by the way Rockstars are pretty freaking amazing pants. They run a few sizes small, but they fit amazingly, and I got them on sale, score!
Class has been going well, learning a lot about Irish culture already and my amazing professor has us writing our own poetry, which I love because poetry has always inspired and spoken to me. Class this Tuesday had me almost in tears as we shared personal stories from our lives, of a salmon leap moment, and some lines from a poem we each wrote based on an ancient Irish poem. Amazing and touching.

Love & Sunshine,
Rya Pie
