Polka Dots & Pups

I got this shirt some time last year on one of my many mother-daughter shopping trips that I am so privileged to be able to take whenever my mom and I get together, and since then I have been absolutely in love with it. The tulip back is definitely my favorite part, providing a nice, skin showing alternative to a low cut front. I'm also a huge fan of the color, which makes it a great transition piece for summer to fall, although I rarely find myself wearing it during cooler weather, which I really should change. Once I washed it in wayyyy too hot water and the thing shrunk up to about a child's size small, but somehow my mom magically managed to stretch it back out so it fit me again. Genius. When I realized I could pair it with my high-waisted shorts, I fell in love all over again.

And now I am going to sneak in a few photos I took of my other half <3

I think if I can manage to find some high-waisted pants that I like, then this shirt can transition into fall with me, but as it stands, I think it will forever be stuck in warmer temperatures.
As for my Muffin dog, I am so sad that I can't just scoop her up and take her back to Washington with me. My heart will break to leave her here, but alas it must be done.

Love and Sunshine,
