Hey Bro, It's Summer

Thursday, June 13, 2013

It's been too long.
I know.
And I feel awful.
It's been one hell of a year at college. Things have been busy as I'm sure you can tell from my lack of posting, which I plan to get back in to more than regularly since it's summer now. I'll still be taking some classes, but things will be more chill, that's for sure.
I made some amazing friends this year. I mean some truly amazing friends that I hope never leave my life. Last year left me feeling alone and a little disappointed by my college experience, for lack of a better word, but I cannot say how happy I am that I didn't transfer from Evergreen. My friendships from first quarter carried out all through the year and the twists and turns that happened along the way have been nothing but an amazing ride.
I'm feeling like someone is smiling down on me right now. Feelin' pretty blessed.
This year:
  • I became crazy close with a girl I have had class and work with all year. We are planning on getting some tattoos together soon. She is just the coolest girl, and I know we will always have a great time if we're together. She brings out a side to me that I didn't think I had, that's a little spunky. <3 So much love.
  • I got my first tattoo
  • My parents moved to Arizona, leaving me on my own for the first time in my life
  • I experienced the end of an almost four year relationship, and managed to stay friends with my ex, who is a great guy.
  • I met this girl who I'll call V. She's all things I'm not and I am so excited to live with her next year. She is also an amazing writer.
  • Speaking of V, she set me up with this guy...who, by the way, I never thought in a million years would like me, and yet things have been going really well. We are the most opposite people, but it works. It's looking to be a promising summer.
  • I threw a pretty sweet party that ultimately got busted by RAD services on our campus
  • I went camping with my class and ate some bomb fish head soup.
2013 still seems so new, and yet I already feel like it's brought me so much. My sophomore year will not be forgotten.
And now, here are some photos from what I called my "Fuck Yeah Summer Bro Party"
Enjoy.

I hope everyone reading that is in school had as good of a year as I did.
I can't wait to get back to blogging on a regular basis. I've really missed it.

So much love to all,
Rya Pie
