Weekend Mariah

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

     So (dang I really need to stop starting all my posts with "so") I don't know if I've mentioned this or not, but in my mind (clothes wise) there are two Mariah's. There is normal Mariah, who for class and other such social events and activities looks semi-stylish etc. Then there is who I like to call "weekend Mariah" and this is the Mariah that wears comfier clothes on the weekends, or in this case, my day off from class. This outfit is pretty classic W.M.
     Don't get me wrong, I don't think I look gross or anything, just not the way I usually look, if that makes any sort of sense. A watered-down version of my usual attire. Or something like that anyways. Either way I still felt cute and colorful, so I really didn't care and thought I'd post it just to mix things up from my outfits that usually have a little more thought put into them.

{TOP, COAT, & JEANS: Old Navy HAT: Fred Meyer BOOTS: Soda LIPS: Nicki by MAC}

     A few other things I wish to mention in this post.
  • I am so in love with the Nicki Minaj colors for MAC. I bought both Nicki and Nicki 2. I love crazy lipsticks and bright colors. I would highly recommend checking these out, plus all the proceeds go to AIDS, so that's awesome.
  • A lot of my clothes are from the children's section in stores. This is just a fact. Being 20 and still just 5'0" tall, it is often cheaper than buying clothes in my own section, and it's not all just t-shirts with kittens and such. Both my top and boots are in children's sizes.
  • I am in LOVE with these jeans that I got from Old Nizzle (this outfit is so reppin my work. Like, hardcore.) They are Rockstars and the waist is a little higher which is nice, but mostly, to be completely honest, I think they make my butt look really nice. Or rather, existent, seeing as I don't really have one haha.
I hope everyone is having a lovely week. Remember that bright colors are your friend. I got away with wearing a totally bright pink lip and an orange hat today. Make it work.

Love,
Rya Pie
